What do you need?

It can be daunting task arranging work to be carried out when you are unsure what exactly is required. Below is a very brief explanation of some of the terms we might use to describe work undertaken.

We want to earn your trust.

When we survey the job and provide you with a quote, we will always provide you with a written quote outlining all of the agreed work. Once the quote has been agreed, we will arrange a mutually convenient time for the work to begin. We will never give you an invoice with any extra costs not pre-agreed in writing.

Crown Reduction

Reducing the crown can mean a full reduction or the reduction of a particular section.

This process allows for more light to enter the area concerned and is a suitable solution if there are mature trees in close proximity to buildings. It can also be a solution to reducing weight on limbs hanging over buildings, walls, telegraph wires etc.

Crown Lift

A Crown Lift describes the process of removing the lower part of the crown.

This particular surgery is  often carried out on trees that are next to the street in order that they are not damaged by passing traffic. A crown lift is also a great way to bring more light into your garden.

Tree Removal

This does exactly what it says on the tin.

There are many reasons for removing trees. Most arborists will do their best to keep trees around, but sometimes a complete removal is the best solution.  For example, maybe the tree has outgrown the space available or is decaying/diseased and must be removed for safety reasons.

Stump Removal and Scanning

This is undertaken using a machine called a stump grinder. Removing the stump of the tree means more space in your garden to plant more trees!

Before the removal of any stumps we use scanning equipment to ensure that no utility’s are going to be damaged in the process.

Is your house underneath the tree?

Don't worry: your house is in safe hands! We are experts in using ropes to lower sections of the tree to avoid damage to any walls, property, or even just your lawn. Our tree surgeons are also trained and skilled climbers, and are often called upon by local authorities to undertake complex rigging work.
